Solo trek

                        SOLO Trek to Indradaha

It was the time of August and the monsoon was just over. So, due to continuous rainfall I wasn't able to travel or visit anyplace. So, I decided to go for a solo trek in any place near Kathmandu. I really love solo travel because I don't have to depend upon any other, I can stop wherever I can, I can begin whenever I like. I don't have to face any difficulties due to others.

However, I was unable to decide where to go. Then, I randomly searched on Google earth for the places to visit, then I came to know about a place called indradaha. It was near to Kathmandu and could easily finish the trek within one day.

And I decided to go to that place after 1 weeks. I bought all the essentials like snacks, drinking water before the trek. I also took lots of the screenshots from Google Earth, as I was unaware if I could get Internet service at that place or not.

I went to Ratnapark and took a bus to thankot. And around 10 A. MI reached Thankot and started my trek. After walking around 15 minutes on the road finally the tree king route came and it was straight uphill.

After walking around 45 minutes straight uphill, it started to rain but initially it was not that heavy and I had also brought an umbrella with me. But it started raining heavily so I took shelter at a hotel nearby.

There was no sign of rain stopping and the time was elapsing fast, so I continued to walk in the rain with an umbrella. The road was very slippery, water was all over the way so it took a lot more time than I expected. Due to heavy fog it was only slightly visible.

Finally , after walking in the rain for half an hour it finally stopped raining, and I was very close to the main point of the trek. The view started coming into sight . It was really beautiful. The greenery was really something that catched my eyes.

And I finally reached my main destination. The view of Kathmandu valley from there was just wonderful. Due to the rain Kathmandu was looking much more beautiful than I thought. Also the rainbow was like a cherry on the cake. Due to clouds the mountains were not seen. But still it was like a heaven to me. All the difficulties I felt during the journey was really worth the journey.

The smell of the trees, flowers, leaves was something that I hadn't experienced in Kathmandu. The peace environment with almost no sound was a perfect place for peace of mind. I was far from the noise of traffic, vehicles, and humans. The feeling was one of the kind.

I really didn't want to go from that place but I was already late due to rain. So, after staying there for an hour and having my snacks I continued my trek to end Point. This part of the trek was really hard for me. As I had to walk on a road and there were no vehicles where I could get lift. It took me 3 hours to cover 9 km. I was really exhausted and then I reached Kalanki and went back home.

This was about my one of the solo treks and there are many more treks and travels I have done and I will be writing about it very soon.

NEB vs A level

Difference between NEB +2 board and CIE A levels - In +2 you can either choose science stream or any other stream or you are not allowed to took science and no science courses together and even some sciences are not allowed together like Biology and Computer Science but in A levels you can combine any sort of subjects.  - In A levels sciences practical exams are also highly important as you have to give your practical exams in your centre and its strictly monitored not as +2 where you perform practicals at your own college and teacher sends your marks and one thing you should know that cheating in A levels is like catching fish with your hand in river.      - There are only few colleges where you can study A levels and most of them are inside Kathmandu Valley and only few are in pokhara and one each in chitwan, butwal and biratnagar so there are fewer choices for you but there are thousands of +2 colleges in Nepal.  - A level exam is way vigo...

How should you start your college search?

Knowing your EFC and researching college   EFC which stands for Expected Family Contribution is a term that you will hear thousands of times while applying to universities especially if you are a student applying for financial aid.  EFC is the fixed amount of money your family is supposed to contribute to your college costs for one year. US universities are pretty expensive and for an average family, it is difficult to pay without taking loans.  However, US university education comes at a different range of prices. Columbia University in the City of Newyork, Uchicago. and Harvey Mudd College are some of the most expensive universities in the US with a sticker price of more than 80k dollars per year for tuition, room, and board. Brigham Young University’s three campuses are the cheapest with an annual tuition below 7000$. Also, you may find cheaper options at community colleges. Note: BYU-Provo is ranked inside the top 100 universities in the US.  Although EFC ...
